Touring with the First National Tour of Anastasia as the Assistant Props. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, space management, assisting Head Props as needed, dumping trucks, safely loading props into venue, adapting Prop truck packs, and packing and loading Prop truck during load out.

Stepped into the role of Head Carpenter while continuing the role as Flyman for the last three weeks of Cinderella. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, advancing the two final venues, informing crew of relevant schedules, training new assistant in load in / load out / and show tracks, ensuring continuity of the show, and coordinating additional load in spaces.

Touring U.S.A. with the second National Tour of Roger + Hammerstein's Cinderella as the Flyman/Automation. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, laying out rigging points, managing deck during load in and load out, hanging softgoods, building scenery pieces, safely installing, running and troubleshooting TAIT Automation (Navigator - Hoists)

Touring continental U.S.A. and Canada with the second National Tour of Roger + Hammerstein's Cinderella, schedule included multiple one-nighters in a row up to a single two-week sit. Duties included, but not limited to, calling rigging truck, assisting Flyman and Head Carpenter during load in and load out, creating and updating show run paperwork, managing Stage Right during the show

Acted as a one-woman Prop Shop for 3 operas at the Wheeler Opera House, while generating an inventory of the prop stock and initiating weapons safety measures. Duties include but not limited to creating props lists, meeting with directors, designers and department heads, pulling rehearsal props, managing prop shop budget, prop research, and building large props.

Fabrication assignments include furniture pieces,  Photoshop and other computer graphics, 

puppets, shrubbery creation, and sculptural backdrops. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, furniture repair, wood work, metal work, set dressing, pulling rehearsal and stage props, transporting props between the shop and the theater, stock organization, cleaning and maintaining the work space.

Worked with professional IATSE staff as an Intern building larger furniture pieces as well as completing individual smaller projects. Transitioned into the role as an Overhire Props Artisan after a month of work.  Responsibilities included furniture repair, upholstering, wood work, metal work, set dressing, pulling rehearsal and stage props, warehouse upkeep, cleaning and maintaining the work space, and props research.

Special Projects: Carpenter Apprentice/Carpentry Journeyman

2014/2016 Summer Season

 

Worked in Scene Shop and supported over 30 different opera, theatre, dance, and music productions as well as assisting other shops as needed during a 7-week period. Duties included setting up opening and closing ceremonies, carpentry, metal work, trucking, changeovers, inventory, load-in, strike, and space restoration.

2012 & 2013 Summer Season

 

Constructed scenery for the festival, producing 7 main stage shows in a 10-week season, oversaw carpentry interns and supervised actor-apprentices in construction and shop safety. Duties included carpentry, metal work, shop maintenance, changeovers, load-in, strike, and space restoration.
